We welcome you and your pet to the Indianapolis Veterinary Specialists New Client Information page. The following information will provide you with what to expect on your first visit.
Scheduling an Appointment:
Indianapolis Veterinary Specialists accepts new clients by referral from your family veterinarian. We depend on him/her to determine when a referral is needed. We then work in cooperation with your family veterinarian to provide the most optimal healthcare for your pet.
Once the referral has been made, you may contact our office to schedule an appointment. We are open for appointments Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. We can be reached by calling 317-841-3606.
Your First Appointment:
Please arrive approximately 15 minutes early for your first appointment. During this time you will be asked to complete a short medical history form, which will become part of your pet’s medical record. Please know the names of medications you have recently administered to your pet and also if your pet has ever experienced a reaction to any medication.
Payment for Services:
We will provide a good-faith estimate of the cost of any procedure or surgery beyond the initial consultation fees prior to treating your pet. A deposit of the low end of this estimate will be required prior to admitting your pet. Payment in full is needed upon discharge of your pet.
We accept cash, checks up to $500.00, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and CareCredit.

From the North: Take I-69 South to Exit 1, which is 82nd Street, Go right on 82nd Street (West) to the first stoplight, which is Bash Street, turn right on Bash Street (North), we are the third building on the left, 2 story brick building.
From the South and East: Take I-465 North to I-69 North, take I-69 North to Exit 1, which is 82nd Street, turn right on 82nd Street, take 82nd Street to the second stoplight which is Bash Street, turn right on Bash Street (north), we are the third building on the left, 2 story brick building.
From the West: Take I-465 East to I-69, take I-69 north to Exit 1 which is 82nd Street, Go right on 82nd Street (West) to the second stoplight which is Bash Street, turn right on Bash Street (North), we are the third building on the left, 2 story brick building.
