The Indianapolis Veterinary Specialists Internal Medicine Department is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of life threatening diseases in our patients. We are proud to offer the latest in diagnostics, treatments, and surgical options for your pet. In connection with our emergency center we are able to offer around the clock care to our hospitalized and critical patients. This department is staffed by a board certified small animal internist as well as licensed veterinary technicians and aided by trained veterinary assistants.

Our internal medicine services generally begin with a full comprehensive exam by our board certified internist. Following this exam a plan of diagnostics, treatments, and/or surgical options will be discussed along with an estimate for the cost of care. In an effort to provide the most comprehensive patient care, our team of board certified specialists in various disciplines are available to consult with on challenging cases.

We work closely with the family veterinarian and will maintain contact regarding the course of treatment via telephone and written communication.
